How we work, and why
Four choices that shape every job. They are not slogans, they are the reasons this business is set up the way it is.
Priced on the property, not a rate card
A three by one that has been lived in for four years is not the same job as a one bedroom apartment somebody left last week. Quoting off a per hour rate means one of those two customers is always paying for the other one.
A crew, not one person
A vacate clean is most of a day for several people working through a property room by room. One person with a bucket takes three times as long and gets tired somewhere around the second bathroom.
The scope in writing, before the first visit
What is in and what is not, agreed up front. If something is not on the list it was never quietly dropped, it was never in, and there is no conversation about it afterwards.
Photos on completion
Sent through when we finish, so you have something to forward to an agent rather than a phone call and a memory. On a handover that is the difference between a conversation and an argument.
Who we work for
Tenants moving out
The biggest part of the work. The clean is done against your entry condition report rather than a generic checklist, because the report is the document the property is actually measured by.
Property managers
End of lease cleans between tenancies, and getting a house presentable before it goes on the market. We turn up when we said, do the scope that was agreed, and send photos you can forward without checking them first.
Office managers
Ongoing cleaning for offices and commercial premises, on a frequency that suits the floor rather than a contract that suits us. Staff come in to a workspace that is fresh and hygienic. Priced on floor area, layout and wet areas.
Homeowners
One off deep cleans, carpets, windows, ovens and tile and grout. Usually before something: a sale, an inspection, a family visit, or a renovation finishing.
What we do not do
Worth saying, because a cleaning company that claims everything is telling you it subcontracts most of it.
- Height access. Second storey exteriors, roofs and anything on ropes is a different trade with different insurance.
- Solar panels and gutters, which come up constantly on window cleaning searches and are not what we do.
- Regrouting, recolouring and repairs. Where grout is cracked or missing, or enamel is gouged, that is a trade job and we will say so.
- Pest control, rubbish removal and gardening. Some vacate cleaners bundle them. We would rather point you at someone who does them properly.
