The short version
If you send us an enquiry, we keep what you typed and we use it to quote your job and do it. That is the whole of it.
We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not send you marketing you did not ask for.
What we collect when you contact us
If you send an enquiry form, we collect your name, your phone number, your email address if you gave one, the property address and whatever you told us about the job. The form also records the moment the page loaded, which is there only to tell a person apart from a script.
That submission is stored in our own database first and then emailed to us. Storing it first is deliberate: if the email fails, your enquiry still exists and somebody can still ring you back, rather than it disappearing silently.
If you call or email us instead, we hold whatever you tell us. Either way we use it to quote the work and to do it.
We do not sell it, rent it or pass it to anyone for marketing. Where we need to share something to do the job, it is limited to that job, and where you have asked us to send photos or a receipt to your property manager we send it to the address you gave us.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it for the work and for our records afterwards, and no longer than the law requires us to. If you want your details removed, ask and we will remove them, including the stored copy of your enquiry.
This website
The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. That is normal for any website and it is not something we look at.
Enquiries are stored in a database hosted by Neon and emailed through Mailgun. Both are service providers handling the data on our behalf, for that purpose only.
The service area map is embedded from Google Maps, so Google may set cookies and receive your IP address when that part of the page loads. That is Google's collection under Google's own privacy policy rather than ours.
We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and complain if you think we have mishandled it. Contact us and we will deal with it.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a complaint, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
