Deep cleaning
Deep cleaning in Perth
Deep cleaning in Perth: a one off clean that goes past the surfaces, for a property that has not had a proper one in a long time.
Not a weekly service and not an exit clean. It is the reset in between, and it is usually bought once.

Which clean do you actually need
Three different jobs get called cleaning and they are priced, scoped and timed completely differently. Most of the confusion on this search is people buying the wrong one.
Every week or fortnight
Regular clean
Maintenance. Surfaces, floors, bathrooms and the kitchen, keeping a property that is already in good order there. It assumes somebody has already done the hard reset.
Reaches: Surfaces and floors
Once, or once a year
Deep clean
The reset. Inside the appliances, inside the cupboards, skirtings, door frames, vents, tracks, tiles and grout. Everything a regular clean goes past because it does not need doing every fortnight.
Reaches: Behind and inside things
At handover
Vacate clean
A deep clean measured against a document. Same depth, but it is done to the entry condition report and an agent signs off on it, which changes what gets checked rather than how hard it is scrubbed.
Reaches: To the condition report
What a deep clean reaches
The short version is everything a regular clean walks past. In practice that is four places.
Inside the appliances
- Oven, racks, trays and inner door glass
- Rangehood and its filters
- Inside the fridge and the freezer
- Microwave, inside and out
- Dishwasher filter and seals
Inside the cupboards
- Kitchen cupboards and drawers, emptied and wiped
- Pantry shelves
- Bathroom vanities and under the sink
- Laundry cupboards and behind the trough
- Wardrobe shelving and rails
The edges of a room
- Skirting boards and architraves
- Door frames, doors and handles
- Light switches and power points
- Ceiling fans, vents and exhaust fans
- Cornices and the tops of doors
Wet areas and glass
- Shower screens, tiles and grout
- Toilets, cisterns and behind them
- Mirrors and splashbacks
- Window tracks, sills and flyscreens
- Tapware and drains
When it is worth it
The four times people actually book one
Moving into a place somebody else has just left, where the exit clean was done to a budget and you would rather start from a known state.
Before or after a renovation, where fine dust has got into every track, vent and cupboard in the property and a regular clean just moves it around.
Before a lease inspection, when the property has drifted and a routine clean will not close the gap in the time available.
Or the simplest one: it has been a couple of years, the regular clean is no longer keeping up, and you want the reset so that it can again.
Where we work
Deep cleaning across Perth
Perth wide, north and south of the river, from the coast through to the hills.
A deep clean is a long job rather than a quick one, so it is booked as a block of time rather than squeezed between two others. The date is easier to get outside the last week of the month.

Deep cleaning questions in Perth
What is the difference between a deep clean and a regular clean?
A regular clean maintains a property that is already in order, so it is surfaces, floors, bathrooms and the kitchen. A deep clean is the reset underneath that: inside the appliances, inside the cupboards, skirtings, frames, vents, tracks and grout. It is a much longer job and it is normally bought once rather than on a schedule.
Is a deep clean the same as a vacate clean?
Close, but not the same. A vacate clean is a deep clean measured against your entry condition report with an agent signing off on it. Same depth, different standard, and the report changes what gets checked rather than how hard it is scrubbed.
How long does a deep clean take?
Most of a day for a typical Perth home, and longer if it has been a few years or there has been building work. It is booked as a block of time rather than squeezed between other jobs, which is why the date matters more than it does for a regular clean.
Does the property need to be empty?
No, but the more that is cleared off benches, out of cupboards and off floors, the more we can actually reach. Anything left in a cupboard has to be worked around and whatever is underneath it does not get done.
What does a deep clean cost in Perth?
It follows the size of the property and how long it has been. Send through the address, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and roughly when it was last done properly, and you get a quote.
Do I need one before an inspection?
Only if the property has drifted far enough that a routine tidy will not close the gap. If it is mostly in order, a rent inspection clean is the lighter and cheaper job and we will tell you if that is what you need.
